If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.
About Tressly
Tressly is a personal hair care journal that helps you track products, wash days, ratings, notes, ingredient lists, and your own hair care history.
Tressly is intended for personal organization and record-keeping. It is not a substitute for professional advice.
User Accounts
Creating an account is optional. You may use Tressly locally without signing in.
Signing in with Apple or Sign in with Google enables cloud backup and synchronization across your devices.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for any activity that occurs under your account.
User Content
You retain ownership of the information you enter into Tressly, including:
- Wash day records
- Product information
- Ratings
- Notes
- Ingredient records
By using Tressly, you grant us permission to store and process this information solely for providing app functionality, including local storage, cloud backup, synchronization, and account restoration where available.
Guest and Local Use
If you use Tressly without signing in, your records are stored locally on your device.
Local records may not be available if the app is deleted, the device is lost, or local data is removed.
Sign Out and Account Deletion
Signing out may remove synced data from your device to help protect your privacy, especially on shared or borrowed devices.
Your cloud backup remains associated with your account and may be restored when you sign in again, unless you delete your account.
You may delete your account at any time using the in-app account deletion feature.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Tressly for unlawful purposes
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interfere with app functionality
- Submit harmful, misleading, or malicious content
- Reverse engineer or misuse the service
Ingredient Information
Ingredient lists in Tressly come from information you enter or scan.
Ingredient scanning uses on-device text recognition. Text recognition may not be perfect.
Tressly does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of ingredient information and does not provide allergy, safety, medical, or product endorsement guidance.
Always verify ingredient information directly from the product label before use.
No Medical Advice
Tressly does not provide medical advice.
Information presented within the app should not be considered medical, dermatological, cosmetic, allergy, or professional health advice.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical concerns, allergies, scalp conditions, or treatment decisions.
Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Tressly at any time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tressly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the app.
Use of Tressly is at your own risk.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Tressly if these Terms are violated.
You may stop using Tressly at any time.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
Continued use of Tressly after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
